Michael L. Levine. M.D., F.A.C.S., a well recognized clinician and surgeon, has been caring for patients locally since 1999. Since that time, he has also acted as a voluntary associate professor at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.
Having trained at the finest institutions, Dr. Levine excels in his field. Dr. Levine graduated from the University of Vermont and received his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School. Dr. Levine completed his surgical internship at the University of Chicago Hospitals. He then completed his Ophthalmology residency, followed by a glaucoma fellowship, at the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital.
As a gifted surgeon, Dr. Levine draws upon his vast clinical experience along with his dedication to leading edge technology and advanced surgical techniques. Dr. Levine educates his patients about their condition and creates a collaborative, customized management plan in every case. Dr. Levine has been an innovator in micro-incisional cataract and laser surgery.

Dr. Levine has performed thousands of surgical procedures over the past decade and authored numerous publications in peer reviewed journals, including a chapter on "Glaucoma" in a published textbook. Dr. Levine recently completed a mission to Jamaica for Orbis International, where he provided much needed surgery and care for the less fortunate, as well as educating the local Ophthalmologists.

Dr. Levine was born in Livingston, New Jersey, on December 10, 1966. He is happily married to Andrea and is the proud father of twins; Jonas and Lucia.
